About

One developer, a few careful apps.

kirigoe is where I, Christopher Brennan, publish the apps I make. I build them from Scotland, in SwiftUI, for Mac, iPhone and iPad.

Every app here started as something I wanted and couldn’t find.

Why each one exists

CueID started with HDIF. I used to go as a student, and later, following along remotely, I wanted to keep listening to the mixes. But a three- or four-hour MP3 with no tracklist is hard to find your way around. I wanted to know what was playing and jump straight to it.

Kanji Detective is for learners like me. My partner is Japanese, and I’m learning the language myself. I wanted a reason to meet one new kanji every day that felt like solving something rather than drilling flashcards.

Kitprice came from buying a camera. I couldn’t find anywhere that showed every UK price in one place, grey imports included, with the trade-offs spelled out, the way sites like Loaded do for Steam keys. So I built it.

How I make them

  • Pay once. Free to try, then a one-time purchase. People are tired of subscriptions, and so am I.
  • On your device. No accounts, no analytics, no ads. Each app’s privacy page lists exactly what leaves your device and why.
  • Supported by the person who wrote it. Emails come to me, and a lot of features started as one.
